Mark Goldstein, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, CCM, Flatiron Institute

Mark Goldstein joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September 2025. Mark’s research focuses on developing and understanding deep generative models, with applications in healthcare and the sciences. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from the Courant Institute at New York University and a Bachelor of Music from the New England Conservatory. Prior to joining CCM, Mark has spent time at RIKEN (Tokyo), Apple Health AI (New York), and Google DeepMind (New York), and served as a Teaching Fellow at Harvard University.
