Matthew Morse was a summer research associate at CCB biophysical modeling group in 2017 and was a visiting scholar until 2020. He has worked on robust and scalable algorithms in various areas of computational mathematics, such as complex particulate flows, geometry processing, and computational topology. He received both his doctorate and master’s degree in computer science from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University at Buffalo – SUNY.

Currently, Matthew is a senior engineer in corporate research and development at Qualcomm.
