Pablo Bueno, Ph.D.

As a member of It from Qubit, Pablo Bueno was a postdoc at Instituto Balseiro, Bariloche, Argentina. Originally from Spain, he earned his Ph.D. at the Instituto de Física Teórica UAM/CSIC, Madrid, under the supervision of Tomás Ortín. Before joining the It from Qubit network, he spent three years in Belgium as an FWO postdoc at Katholieke Universiteit te Leuven’s Instituut voor Theoretische Fysica. His research interests cover a range of topics, including classical and quantum aspects of black holes and gravity, the interplay between quantum information and quantum fields, and the intersection of the first two through the lens of holography.
