Philip Yam

Philip Yam previously served as the editor-in-chief of the Simons Foundation website. He joined the foundation in 2015 after 25 years at Scientific American, where he was a features editor, news editor and finally managing editor, online. He is the author of “The Pathological Protein: Mad Cow, Chronic Wasting and Other Deadly Prion Diseases,” published by Copernicus Books in 2003.
