Pratik Rath, Ph.D.

Pratik Rath is a postdoc at University of California, Santa Barbara. Originally from India, he was part of the Perimeter Scholars International’s master’s program at Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Canada. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of California, Berkeley under the supervision of Yasunori Nomura. His research is based on understanding quantum gravity in general spacetimes using the principle of holography, ideas from quantum information and toy models like tensor networks.
