Sijia Chen, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, Initiative for Computational Catalysis, Flatiron Institute

Sijia Chen joined the Initiative for Computational Catalysis (ICC) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September 2025. Her research focuses on understanding heterogeneity across length scales, from the nanoscale to the macroscopic, through molecular dynamics simulations. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 2025 and her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2020.
