Solomon Quinn, Ph.D.

Flatiron Research Fellow, CCM, Flatiron Institute

Solomon Quinn joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September, 2024. Solomon’s research interests include mathematical physics, partial differential equations and numerical analysis, with applications to topological insulators, waveguides and moiré materials. Before joining CCM, Solomon was a Dunham Jackson Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. Solomon obtained his Ph.D. in computational and applied mathematics from the University of Chicago in 2023, under the supervision of Professor Guillaume Bal.
