Sophia Noel is a contemporary dancer, award-winning filmmaker and storyteller whose work blends hip-hop, salsa, swing, and ballet into dynamic, cross-cultural performances. Through choreography, writing and film, she explores movement as a universal language. After five years in Tokyo, she is now based in New York City, serving as a choreographer-in-residence at Gibney and working in partnership with ElevenLabs, a leader in AI-generated audio. Noel holds a B.A. in art history from Columbia University.
