Tiger Lu, Ph.D.
Flatiron Research Fellow, Exoplanets, CCA, Flatiron Institute
Tiger Lu joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September 2025. He studies various topics in exoplanet dynamics, such as tidal dynamics and planetary system stability, using numerical simulations. He hopes to shed light on some of the more subtle influences on planetary motion with the ultimate goal of understanding how exoplanetary systems are formed. He earned his Ph.D in astronomy from Yale University (2025) and his B.S in astrophysics from the California Institute of Technology (2020).
