Ying Zhao, Ph.D.

Ying Zhao is a postdoc at University of California, Santa Barbara. As a member of It from Qubit, she was a postdoc at the Institute for Advanced Study. Originally from China, she received her Ph.D. from Stanford University under the supervision of Leonard Susskind. Her recent work has focused on notions of computational complexity and their application to the understanding of black holes.
