Yurina Nakazato joined the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in October 2025. She earned her Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Tokyo in 2025. Her research focuses on emission-line modeling of high-redshift (z > 6) galaxies and their formation and evolution using zoom-in cosmological simulations. She frequently collaborates with observational programs targeting high-redshift galaxies using the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) and the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST).
