Zuzanna Kocjan
Research Analyst, CCA
Zuzanna joined CCA in Fall 2026 as a Pre-Doctoral Program participant. She works with Dr Mike Grudić and Dr Lachlan Lancaster on connecting the physical properties of HII regions to their observables across the electromagnetic spectrum.
Outside of CCA, Zuzanna is a PhD Candidate at University of Maryland where she works on modeling the multiphase interstellar medium (ISM) and star formation using hydrodynamical simulations. Her thesis research focuses on developing TURTLE, a sub-grid ISM model that enables cosmological simulations to capture the effects of unresolved physical processes, such as turbulence and stellar feedback.
