Andrea Rocchetto, Ph.D.

As a member of It from Qubit, Andrea Rocchetto was a postdoc at the University of Texas at Austin. He read physics at Sapienza Università di Roma and Imperial College London. He received his D.Phil. from the University of Oxford and was a graduate fellow at the Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics. His research focuses on the capabilities and limits of quantum computers and on algorithmic models of quantum many-body systems. Within the context of the It from Qubit Collaboration, he was interested in developing new complexity measures for quantum states.
