Bogdan Stoica is a postdoc at the Harvard Center for Mathematical Sciences and Applications. As a member of It from Qubit, he was a postdoctoral scholar at Brandeis University. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2016 from California Institute of Technology under the supervision of Hirosi Ooguri. He is exploring the interface of gravity, quantum field theory and information theory, having worked on deriving gravitational constraints from information inequalities and on characterizing allowed entanglement entropies in holography, among other things. More recently, he has developed an interest in number theory.
