Title: Active hydrodynamics of nucleoplasm

We describe an active hydrodynamic model of chromatin within eukaryotic cells. Viscoelastic properties of the euchromatin and heterochromatin are both studied. Density and hydromatic instabilities are investigated and 2D simulations of the system are used to further analyze the induced flows and density fluctuations beyond the linearized theory.
