Asif Bashar

Asif Bashar joined the Simons Foundation’s Informatics group as a Senior Software Engineer in 2017. Asif is responsible for Development, Optimization and Usability Enhancement of SPARK projects. Before joining the Simons Foundation, he worked as a Development Team Lead and lastly as a Development Manager, Digital Innovation at one of the largest news media company in Canada, where he led development teams responsible for most of their major digital developments used by millions of users. Asif holds BSc[H] in Computer Information Systems and BSc in Computer Science from the University of Windsor.
