Bryce Palmer is a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Biology, where he focuses on infrastructure-level algorithm and software development toward the construction of digital twins for micro-scale, many-body systems. He first joined the Flatiron Institute as a summer intern in May 2022 and continued as a guest researcher before transitioning to a Flatiron Research Fellow in August 2025. Bryce holds a dual Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and computational mathematics from Michigan State University and a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology. He is a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and Michigan State University’s Engineering Distinguished Scholar Fellowship.
