Dr. Camille Avestruz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at the University of Michigan. She received her B.A. in Physics, Mathematics, and Dance from Barnard College in 2009 and her Ph.D. in Physics from Yale University in 2015. After receiving her Ph.D., she held a joint Enrico Fermi/KICP Postdoctoral Fellowship and Provost’s Postdoctoral Scholarship at the University of Chicago, then moved to the University of Michigan as an LSA Collegiate Postdoctoral Fellow in 2019.
