With members of all career stages — from established scientists to postdocs, pre-docs and interns — the Flatiron Institute's Alumni Network is a hub for computational scientists who once called the Flatiron Institute home. Alumni Network members keep in contact with Flatiron scientists past, present and future, are invited to select scientific events, are featured regularly on the institute’s website, and receive updates on peers' career paths in our biannual newsletter. All former institute members are invited to take part in our Alumni Network.

Giuseppe Carleo is a computational quantum physicist, whose main focus is the development of advanced numerical algorithms to study challenging problems involving strongly interacting quantum systems.

Andreia Carrillo, Ph.D.

Dreia joined CCA as a pre-doctoral fellow in Spring 2020 focusing on Galactic archaeology in simulations. She earned her Ph.D. in Astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin.

Katerina works on gravitational wave astrophysics and using data from ground-based and space-based gravitational wave detectors to study the properties of black holes and neutron stars.
