Flatiron Institute Staff

Colin Hill worked at the Flatiron Institute from 2019 to 2022 as an associate research scientist in the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA).

Shirley Ho joined the foundation in 2018 as leader of the Cosmology group at CCA. Her research interests have ranged from fundamental cosmological measurements to exoplanet statistics to using machine learning to estimate how much dark matter is in the universe.

David W. Hogg is an astrophysicist at New York University’s Center for Cosmology and Particle Physics and the group leader of CCA’s Astronomical Data group. His research has ranged from fundamental cosmological measurements to stellar dynamics to exoplanet searches and characterization.

Sidney Holden joined the Centre for Computational Biology (CCB) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in October, 2024.

Amy is an Associate Research Analyst at CCN.

Chia-Yu Hu was a Flatiron Research Fellow at the Center for Computational Astrophysics between 2016 and 2019, and is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max-Planck Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics.

Xiaoshan Huang is a graduate student at the University of Virginia, working with Shane Davis and Yan-fei Jiang on radiation (magneto-)hydrodynamics (RMHD) and cosmic rays MHD (CR-MHD) simulations.
