Flatiron Institute Staff

Andrew Millis is co-director of the Center for Computational Quantum Physics at the Flatiron Institute and professor of physics at Columbia University. He currently serves as Managing Director of the Flatiron Institute.

Dr. Emily Miraldi is a computational and systems biologist whose lab, at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, builds mathematical models of the immune system (http://miraldilab.cchmc.org/).

Mahsa joined the Center for Computational Biology (CCB) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in September, 2024.

During Jaid’s time at the Flatiron Institute, she was a Simons-NSBP Program (SNSP) Scholar working in the Center for Computational Astrophysics.

Miguel A. Morales Silva joined the Center for Computational Quantum Physics in 2021 as a Research Scientist.

Rudy Morel joined the Center for Computational Mathematics (CCM) as a Flatiron Research Fellow in October 2023.

Jorge Moreno is an Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Pomona College and a Visiting Scientist at the Carnegie Observatories.
