The MPS Division of the Simons Foundation organizes conferences and symposia on diverse topics in mathematics, theoretical physics and theoretical computer science, to highlight scientific breakthroughs in these fields and to stimulate exchanges of ideas between participants.

The Conferences on Ultra-Quantum Matter will bring together researchers from a variety of backgrounds who are making key contributions to the study of UQM. The first meeting will focus on identifying promising visions for building bridges between the theory of UQM and real matter in the lab.
It from Qubit will hold a summer school for advanced graduate students and postdocs in Bariloche, Argentina, January 8-13, 2018.
